Social engagement is very important.
That is why we at HydX work extensively with both sports clubs for children and young people, as well as with various funds whose purpose is to increase opportunities for children and young people.
We do it because the children are our future.
- Our social commitment has increased over the past five years, we think it is important to make a difference, says Mikael Andersson, MD.
- We allocate money every year to support both local projects for young people and other types of initiatives where we can make a genuine difference.
A large part of their efforts are aimed at preventing and combating diseases such as diabetes and cancer among children; but HydX also makes contributions to providing economically disadvantaged children with the opportunity to have, for example, a memorable summer or Christmas. We also support Österport High School’s year four technology programme in order to provide study-interested young people with better educational opportunities in our region; in addition, we even sponsor several local sports clubs who make every effort to provide children with meaningful leisure time.
- Children are our future and we feel that they are the most important thing we have, says Mikael Andersson, MD.
- Therefore, it is important for us that we involve ourselves socially, that we take responsibility and that we help out where we have the opportunity to make a difference.
